Modern Colors: Is It Green or Yellow?

Pear (aka Quince) - This is the new color that is all the rage. Not quite yellow, not quite green. Some of our favorites below!

Farrow and Ball: This unique color from Farrow and Ball in called Churlish Green. This yellow-green color has been used decoratively for centuries. Pairs well with Tanner's Brown (dark chocolate that is almost black), French Gray or Strong White.

Robert Allen Fabric: Nod in Pear. We love this modern pattern in a durable rayon/cotton/poly blend. This small 3.5" repeat can handle 15,000 double rubs and looks great with larger patterns. Also comes in three other great colorways.

Beaugency Trim by Houles - This beautiful traditional trim comes in updated and modern colors like this one, 9717. Eighteen other colorways available.

Osborne and Little: This wallpaper always intrigued me with its lovely pattern and unique coloration. An exotic feel with colorful hummingbirds darting between the foliage. Pattern: Grove Garden in colorway W5603/01, from Tara Wallpapers through Osborne and Little.

Chamomile Green Glazed Lamp - This beautiful lamp is all terracotta with a fabulous "chamomile tea" green in a reverse glazing style. The pattern is made by glazing around a botanical pattern that is placed on the base of the lamp. The botanical leaves then are not glazed leaving them with a raw natural unglazed look. A beautiful combination! Purchase at The Designer Insider, item C06019.
