Our second wedding takes us to the beautiful Okanagan (here in B.C.) and the wedding of Leah and Corry! Text by Anna and Kasia of Gucio Photography.
Leah (who is a graphic designer) was a part of each and every detail of the day. Some of our favourite touches included all the beautiful stationary and graphic elements (which Leah designed herself), the found "L" and "C" signage (from BC Place!) which fit in perfectly along side the cookies (handmade by the bridesmaids) and a beautiful cake from Ganache featuring design elements from the stationary.
The gorgeous "rustic modern" decor included additional DIY touches everywhere: from the framed burlap seating chart board, to the stunning centre pieces assembled by the girls and the coordinated outdoor seating area with matching pillows.
The ceremony was held at the Summerland Ornamental Garden with the reception later at La Punta Norte, which has some of the most incredible views of Okanagan Lake. Flowers were provided by Art Knapp and Gallop's Flowers and arranged by the bride and wedding party (Leah made a last minute addition to her bouquet by wrapping the necklace she received from Corry the morning of the wedding around the stems).
Day-of event planning was provided by the lovely Jenna of Revel Events. Photography by Gucio Photography. More beautiful and larger images here.
Thank you to Leah and Corry (and Gucio Photography) for sharing this beautiful day!
