Once upon a time, at the young age of 21, an enterprising New York socialite eloped with publishing mogul and citrus heir Peter Pulitzer. The couple left New York and embarked on a glamorous and colorful life in Palm Beach. Lilly opened a simple juice stand in 1959 and transformed her citrus stained clothing into a line of brightly colored shift dresses in an array of cheery prints. Her designs became the unofficial uniform of America's resort towns. Fifty years later these prints and colors continue to inspire and are now available through Lee Jofa fabrics for your home.
