Last day: "Father's Day & Affordable Art Market"!
Today is the last day of our Pop and Pop Art online market at Poppytalk Handmade! We loved the art and Father's Day ideas! The online shop will remain open until approx 6 pm tonight (if you still want to check it out) and then we'll be cleaning up things over the weekend to get ready for our next event, "Here Comes the Sun" which launches Monday just in time for the first day of summer next week! Affordable Art (PM Edition) The Wheatfield
Katie Daisy is a wandering artist whose home is the prairie. Originally from a small farm in Illinois, Katie is greatly inspired by rural life. Ms. Daisy makes her way by enjoying simple country pleasures such as a sweet goldfinch song, swimming in lakes, canoe trips that creep into the night and sipping chamomile tea with honey. Apart from freelance work, Katie sells art on the road at festivals, art shows, and online at her Etsy shop! Katie currently lives in a cloud-hidden country home, nestled somewhere between the Smoky Mountains and pure bliss.

Vivienne is a self taught artist. She collects vintage ceramic poodles and is in constant search of the perfect black and white striped t-shirt. Vivienne shares a birthday with Billy the Kid, Bela Lugosi, Harpo Marx and Erte. She enjoys working in many mediums: watercolor, ink, oils, collage and embroidery to her repretoire. She does not have any formal training in the arts but does have a BA degree in Philosophy. She lives in upstate NY with her husband, artist Matte Stephens and their family of cats. Whether images of seedlings, wildlife, local buildings or family members, Elizabeth Mayville 's paintings are a reflection of her adoration for "home" as well as the quiet anxiety that stems from being invested in something so beautiful and so completely temporary.
Elizabeth earned her BFA in 2006 and has been painting and working in Grand Rapids, Michigan ever since. She's completely bananas for any simple painting or drawing that is well executed and has a good sense of light and color. See more of her work online:

Matte Stephens is a 36 year old artist that lives in Upstate NY. His work is pretty well-known online, but he always comes up with something fresh and new for us to marvel at. Matte loves modern design and is inspired by anything Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, George Nelson/Irving Harper and artists like Ben Shahn and Paul Klee.
