Colour Therapy: Morris Etc. Rugs
These vintage one-off creations are off the meter for me today! Loving these fruit punch coloured rugs from Morris Etc., a Brooklyn-based rug company I just came across via Arren Williams today. Seriously good.
Update: In digging a bit deeper, I just found an article written on them with a tour of their apartment in New York Magazine.
Purple haze
When I was a kid, my favourite colour was purple. I still like purple, in it's various shades and nuances. Subtle, smoky brown-purples, soft blue-purples and pretty pink-purples are the ones I like the most.

Chocolate and vanilla: a perfect pair

I love the colour combination of rich, velvety chocolate brown, lightened up with a touch of pale vanilla colours.
Hope these pictures are a feast for your eyes!

Who says brown is boring? Not me! Brown is warm, inviting and comforting.

Is this Germany's answer to Ikea?

These pictures are from German furniture and homewares company Car Mobel.
All furniture comes flat-packed and is marketed as good value for money - sound familiar?
I'm loving the clean, simple lines, the white painted furniture, and the sweet, fresh pops of colour.
