DIY: Upcycled Easter Egg Buntng

I've recently been having a blast working on some landscapes using paperboard cutouts and fabric. You can do so much with so little - I love that! Working on those landscapes brought these little egg cutouts to mind. Create this a sweet little Easter DIY bunting using recycled paperboard and bits of fabric and trim. Its very easy to do and looks super cute.
1. Cut six to ten strips of paperboard in 4 x 1.5 inch pieces and fold in half with wrong sides together.
2. Create an egg template with shape tapered towards top - don't make a straight oval. Use more than one template to have some variation in shape.
3. Use template to create egg outline on each strip. Outline should be on top of folded piece of paperboard. Orient the egg so that its top is towards the fold.
4. Cut out egg shape with an Exacto blade.
5. Repeat for each.
6. Cut fabric or trim to fit cardboard piece. Super fun way to use little bits of the things you LOVE!
7. Arrange trim and fabric and enclose within folded paperboard. Sew around egg shape, secure other decorative trim, add stitching detail.
8. Snip off any thread ends.
9. String yarn through top of each egg with a darning needle
10. Hang!
