Have you found yourself flipping through magazines, or going into high-end furniture stores and drooling over their upholstery designs?! Us too! That's why we've so enjoyed starting our own upholstery line in the shop.

Using vintage and new fabrics, we continue to create unique and one of a kind designs... at a fraction of the cost of our competitors!

Our free Upholstery Design Workshop is one of the thriftiest ways to achieve an artpiece for your home, because you have taken the actual chair price out of the equation...paying only for your piece's transformation! And the design service this day is FREE...

Now you too can create something like you've seen or that we've designed! The workshop is limited ( only SIX to TEN people ) and you must Pre-register for the workshop by emailing us at mignonnedecor@yahoo.com.

In your email, make sure to include:

* A picture of the piece you already have, have found on craigslist, or even on the street!

* We will then send you a quote for the price of reupholstering your piece (does not include cost of fabric).

* It's your choice:

>>>Browse/Purchase our vintage fabrics the day of, or

>>>Bring your own that you are wanting to incorporate in your piece's overall design!

Don't be held back by "upholstery fabrics"! Think: vintage rug, tapestry, favorite leather jacket, etc. as the material to bring!

Your benefits include:

* we will have assistance on hand to help unload your project pieces, and FREE PARKING in our back lot *

* FREE design know-how and guidance from the Mignonne Team will to help put your design all together!

* Mimosas and fromage to boot!

* A new artpiece for your home/office/shop!

* Upon completion of your new design the day of the workshop, you will pay a deposit of half of your project, and final balance upon its completion/pick up 2-3 weeks later.



If you can't make this workshop, let us know and we can add you to the guestlist for next time!



* Ottomans typically run from $125-$185 and arm chairs typically run from $295-$450, please send us a picture of your piece so that we can give you a more accurate quote per your project! At the end of the workshop you will have designed a piece that we send off to get reupholstered.

the last church pew we found and transformed was so popular ... we snagged this one in a heartbeat. You can make a dramatic statement by incorporating a piece like a pew into your room design. These interesting and historical items serve well in a kitchen, can be used in a living space or entry and even as an outdoor element on a terrace.

This one has been re-envisioned in an electric turquoise blue and retains some of its original elements such as the songbook holder and hooks. Check out the amazing details (columns, inlay design) in person by stopping by our shop to check it out!

Mignonne Décor featured in Oakland Magazine!

The July/August issue of Oakland Magazine's "On The Way" department highlights the up and coming San Pablo Avenue shopping district. Before & after ... Choose your custom-design chairs!

We know you love our before and afters ... here's an example of our custom-redesigned dining chairs ... now on offer at Mignonne.

You can choose from an array of custom colors AND handscreened fabric for the seats. Johnelle partners with Gina Perincini to create your one-of-a-kind dining chairs (sets of at least four). We can scout the chairs for you or you can provide your own. The selection of styles are diverse and can be customized to fit your décor.
