The curvy legs and carving detail make it even more special. Available now for $195.

Wow, what a conversation piece! Eight feet, eight inches long, repurposed in blue with light distressing. Seat a crowd in your open kitchen or dining area ... imagine it on the terrace or in your garden! #3 - The Hide-a-way! - Antique Redwood Hutch

Gorgeous revamped hutch, roomy and divine. It is solid redwood, and is an original built in from a Bay area home. It has been sealed with a top coat, making it an easy piece to clean and wipe down. Could also work well in a bedroom to store additional clothing etc. Snag this treasure for $550.

More repurposed deliciousness! This darling petite shelf has been revamped to be a perfect addition to almost any room! Johnelle named it "Butternut " for its tones of olive and yellow. It would look darling in a bathroom mounted to a wall for extra shelving or in a kitchen for books, liquor bottles, spices etc.. This piece however, could work in almost any room for a little bit of extra style... Hand refinished means this multi-dimensional unit is absolutely one-of-a-kind.

These aren't run-of-the-mill repainted tables and chests. Each piece is reimagined and redone into a conversation starter. In fact, they are so individual ... they have names! Yes, as each item is 'reborn', it is christened with a name that fits its new personality!

How's this for a before and after?

this is what we do!

We're sharing another example of repurposed fabulousness, courtesy of Mignonne!

We had this piece in our store for awhile, we found it during one of our treasure hunts. Originally, it was a flat cream color. We think it was originally for a laundry room. We used it as a display item for linens and cleaning products.

One of our customers was looking for a unique bar. We consulted on color and transformed this cabinet into a one-of-a-kind bar and conversation piece.

In addition to sanding, painting and waxing, we refurbished the metal interior. That great vintage glassware on display in the bar is also courtesy of Mignonne! Some vintage, some French ... all lovely!

bohemian décor rhapsody ...

continuing our design theme features ... here's the dish on bohemian décor.  Of course, we like it best when bohemian meets francaise for some gloriously quirky urban designs.

Bohemian décor mixes vivid color, draping fabrics, antiques and informal layering to create welcoming nests out of your rooms.  Think a melange of patterns, complimentary colors, eclectic pairings of modern and antique ... and with the splash of francaise you'll see some baroque hints, lots of gold and gilt ... and some of those classic lines found in antique french fateuilles and commodes.

Check out that wall arrangement in the mirror's reflection ... grouping a large collection of art ... perhaps using a constant frame color on different sized and shaped frames or the reverse ... same frame shape and size but a variety of colors ... is an example of a bohemian touch that is easy to create.

You don't have to break the bank ... consult with us for some whimsical repurposing of a thrift store find. We can also work with you to mine existing decorations to unearth treasures that bring your design vision to light in a whole new way.
