Expanding our chandelier offering

We will be bringing in more hanging chandeliers on offer, and we now have the means to display them. In Oakland, chandeliers were permanent fixtures, which made it difficult to offer them for sale. Or, when we did have them for sale, we were unable to light them.

Our new shop is all set to hang and display chandeliers for sale. We already have a couple up for sale, and will be rotating more of a selection in for you to consider.

Here's a recent example. This wrought-iron chandelier has been completely rewired. It reflects old world elegance with a beautiful, aged patina in delicious greens and browns. Ready to hang out in the perfect spot you're saving. Come by this week-end and check it out.

Here's your run-of-the-mill chest of drawers. Tired finish, old drawer pulls, nothing too exciting going on here. (Maybe you have one of these in your garage or ... ?)



After a sanding to eliminate all traces of that faded brown stain ... we selected a combination of vibrant colors to spice up this piece. A sizzlingly pimento and hot-cha-cha teal green. This palette inspired the name (a new habit we've acquired...naming our custom furniture pieces) "Frida's House". Frida just sold for $135, but don't worry. We can make you a dream chest of your own ... just give us a buzz!



We think you'll agree the final outcome is "Muy Caliente!"

New at Mignonne ... Original, handcrafted wooden vases from Brian Hill

Brian Hill, local east bay craftsman ... has not only installed some amazing custom touches inside the store ... but he has designed some gorgeous, one-of-a-kind vases which will be on sale soon at Mignonne. The first batch is crafted from 100 year old redwood and lined with scented wax, which allows the vase to hold water.

We have opened our doors at 2447 San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley, (Cross street is Dwight). We have some beautiful new furniture pieces on offer ... and some new artisanal work on its way. Our new store is shaping up nicely and we will be scheduling our Grand Opening Reception in July. We have a few new features in our Berkeley location, in response to customers' requests.

This custom redesign project, distressed bar stools, was completed for $115. We can execute a similar project for you, with your furniture and choice of colors!







Check out pretty "Nightingale", a beautiful full-sized bed in soft shades of blue and cream. This bed comes complete with headboard, footboard and side rails for $525.
