Everyone's home should TELL A STORY OF WHO THEY ARE so surround yourself with decor that reflects your personality.
In addition, you should not have anything in your home that doesn't make you HAPPY :)
Other DESIGN ADVICE (whether you want it or not):
1. EDIT, EDIT, EDIT. You don't want everything you own out all the time
2. Every room should have a PURPOSE
3. Decor in your home should not only be beautiful, but FUNCTIONAL
4. Framed Pictures of people you love turns a HOUSE into a HOME
