Sanderson Fabrics: Modern or Traditional!

Sanderson Fabrics has been a favorite among designers for years. Their beautiful collections have a large range from traditional patterns to modern designs. We are showcasing one of their more modern collections below, Amari. This collection of five fabrics have beautiful designs taken from several different sources like an antique Indian carpet and an archived French document. See all five fabrics below!

Amari Collection:

This beautiful fabric is Callisto from the Amari Collection designed by Maggie Levien for Sanderson. The Callisto fabric is seen here on the sofa in the Blue/Lime colorway and is further enhanced as the lining for the drapery. This print is inspired by an archived French document with flowers that have been revitalized for more modern interiors. Callisto comes in seven different colorways and is a linen/cotton blend. Beautiful!
One of my favorite other colorways in this fabric is the one below: Black/Ochre.

The Leora fabric seen here is a print of delicate peony heads with subtle tones and a beautiful three dimensional quality. This colorway, Duck Egg/Lime, is on a linen/cotton blend and comes in five beautiful colorways.

This beautiful pattern is Sarasa, an elegant curving design from an antique Japanese textile. Soft colorings in five different colorways for the modern home on 100% cotton. This colorway is the Taupe/Chocolate.
One of my other favorite colorways in this fabric is the one below: Chocolate/Teal.

This pattern, Ceres, is inspired by a 19th century Indian carpet with a beautiful worn quality. This fabric comes in six colorways with the Pink/Taupe colorway seen here on a linen/cotton blend.

The final fabric in this collection is Aerial, A leaf motif inspired by an early 19th century block print. The fabric comes in nine colorways with the Red/Taupe seen here. This pattern is on a 90% linen/10% nylon weave with a large repeat.
See a more subtle colorway below: Duck Egg/Mole.

Stay tuned for more beautiful fabrics from Sanderson in an upcoming article. All fabrics are to the trade and photos are courtesy of Sanderson Home.
