Check out our newest Collection ... The Craftsman Collection

Every piece of The Craftsman Collection is handcrafted, using solid joinery methods. The Amish craftsman autographs each finished piece of furniture with their stamp of quality.

Our Craftsman Mission revival style furniture has its roots in the American Southwest. As Spanish Romans Catholic monks and nuns established missions among the Native Americans, they built their own furnishings. Because of limited time, resources and abilities their work was rugged and simple, but sturdy and strictly functional.

Many years later, during the Arts and Crafts Movement of the 1920’s, Mission style furniture was popularized by German American furniture artisan and bungalow designer Gustav Stickley, who built and sold Mission style furniture in America.

Today Mission furniture has come full circle, as “in vogue” among contemporary interior decorators. Constructed from sturdy, dark stained oak hardwood, its straight lines speak of simplicity, functional durability and style. This refined, yet simple, all American style is a wonderful blend of Spanish, Native American and American cultures.

Our Craftsman Mission furniture are true reproduction furniture, offering years of durable service in style. Please visit us online at http://www.dutchcrafters.com or call to speak to one of our helpful sales associates at 1-866-272-6773.
